Quick Update 6-4-13

The situation in Turkey just seems to grow literally by the second.  Neither side seems to be backing down.  All this over saving a park?!  The nice preservationist in me says why?  I realize that green space is important to a city but is saving it really worth risking life and limb?  What also amazes me is that something that starts out as a good cause suddenly becomes a forum for airing national grievances.  I'm concerned that this will end very badly.  Let's hope for the best.
